AltoSignal for Spas

Groups, resorts and med spas

The rooms may be in different buildings.

Every wired call system, every wall light and every on-site server stops at the walls of one building. That is not a feature they forgot; it is what they are. It is also why a second location means a second installation, a second box and a second thing that can break.

You do not have to choose between reaching the whole group and being quick down the hall.

Nothing on site. Add a location without adding hardware — and inside each one, screens still hand signals straight to each other.

Unlimited

Staff seats, on every plan. You pay for screens, never for people.

20+

Devices, and there is volume pricing. Email us with a screen count.

One

Account across every property, with one place to manage all of it.

Zero

Hardware to install per site. No wiring, no on-site box, no IT visit.

Four shapes of bigger

Bigger means something different in each of these.

A med spa group and a resort spa have almost nothing in common except that a single-building system fits neither.

Med spas and med spa groups

Higher ticket, more rooms, more staff per room, and a compliance instinct.

  • No guest names, notes or health information stored, anywhere.
  • A BAA on request.
  • Clinical and spa wings can word the same room states differently.

Resort and hotel spas

Many rooms, several buildings, and a network you do not control.

  • One account across the spa, the pool, the cabanas and the desk.
  • Screens keep signalling each other if the hotel wifi drops.
  • Resort presets ship in the app: concierge, attendant, hydro pool, sauna.

Multi-location groups and franchises

The comparison every wired system loses outright.

  • Nothing on site, so nothing to install per location.
  • One place to manage staff, rooms and channels across every site.
  • A small studio and a flagship each cost what their screens cost.

Large day spas, twenty screens and up

One building, but more of it than a wall system was designed for.

  • Volume pricing from twenty devices.
  • Housekeeping, dispensary, retail and the desk on one board.
  • Channels, each with its own tone, so back of house does not hear the front.

Why the pricing suits you

Per device, not per person.

A spa is high headcount and low screen count — many people, far fewer screens. AltoSignal bills per screen with unlimited staff seats, so adding the whole team costs nothing. The model was built to answer a dental objection about per-user tiers, and it happens to suit spas better than the practices it was designed for.

Same price for a spa as for a dental practice: 3 dollars per device per month, or 2 billed annually. Volume pricing from twenty. See the numbers, or read how a signal crosses a building.

Questions

About groups and volume

Can one account cover more than one location?

Yes, and that is the part most systems cannot do at all. Staff, rooms and channels are managed in one place across every property. Inside each building, screens also hand signals straight to each other, so a site keeps signalling if its own connection drops.

How does pricing work at twenty or more screens?

There is volume pricing from twenty devices, quoted rather than published, so email sales@altosignal.com with a rough screen count. Below that it is 3 dollars per device per month, or 2 dollars billed annually, with a five device minimum.

We have far more staff than screens. Does that cost more?

No. You pay per screen, never per person, and staff seats are unlimited. A resort spa with forty therapists working across twelve screens pays for twelve. That suits a spa better than it suits the dental practices the model was designed for, where the ratio is closer to one screen per person.

Do you sign a BAA for a med spa?

A BAA is available on request. It is worth knowing what AltoSignal stores first: no guest names, no notes and no health information. Signals carry a role, an action and a room, so the compliance question is usually smaller than people expect.

Can different properties use different wording?

Yes, within one account. Room states travel as identifiers and are read back through each screen's own list, so a med spa wing and a day spa wing can show different words for the same condition and still agree what a room is.
